Auxiliares de conversación

I was a language assistant at EOI Chiclana from October 2021 to May 2022. My experience there was an extremely positive and fulfilling one. The school is very small and intimate, so I got to know each faculty member very well. Adjusting to school life, as well as life in Spain in general, can be a challenging time at the start. However, I was met with a lot of support and acceptance from the staff and students. I loved having the opportunity to help students practice their speaking skills. I shared many things about my country and culture, and the students in return shared things with me. This led to very interesting and engaging classroom discussions. I have so much gratitude about my experience at EOI Chiclana, and I am sure it would be an enriching adventure to any language assistant.
